Heavy rain likely in Kerala for next three days, IMD issues warning

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department has informed that light rainfall is likely in districts of Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki and Kozhikode in the next three hours.

The IMD has issued warning that there is a possibility of widespread rain and heavy rain at isolated places in Kerala from November 12 to 14. A low pressure formed in the southwest Bay of Bengal is currently located off the Sri Lankan coast. It is likely to gain strength in the next 24 hours. It is likely to move towards the Tamil Nadu - Puducherry coast from November 10 to 12, moving in a northwesterly direction. As a result, widespread rainfall is expected.
