Police officer suspended for taking money from several person in the name of investing in share market

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A civil police officer of Ottapalam police station, RK Ravi Sankar, was suspended on the complaint that he took money from several persons with the promise of profits by investing it in share market.

Action was taken by the Palakkad District police chief, Vishwanath R.

In the suspension order it is said that in a disciplined and responsible police force, Ravi Sankar’s behavior is unjustifiable and has caused disgrace to the police in front of the public. Cases have been filed against Ravi Sankar at Nedumangadu and Palode police stations. Departmental investigations will be conducted by Palakkad District Crime Records Bureau Dy.SP.
