Madrassa teacher gets 62-year jail term for sexually assaulting minor

PALAKKAD: A Madrassa teacher was sentenced to 62 years for sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl. A fine of Rs three lakh has also been imposed on him. The Pattambi POCSO Fast Track court sentenced the accused identified as Abdul Hakkeem of Malappuram.

The incident happened in 2019. The case is that he sexually assaulted the girl at the Madrassa.
