Four killed, 60 injured as gas cylinder explodes at marriage function

JODHPUR: Four were killed after a gas cylinder exploded during a marriage function. Nearly 60 sustained injuries and the condition of 42 are stated to be serious. The incident happened in Bhungra village at Jodhpur in Rajasthan.

The seriously injured has been admitted at the MGH Hospital nearby. There are women and children among the injured. The district collector said their treatment has started. Police and the fire brigade team have reached the spot. Rescue operations started soon after the incident happened. Police said an investigation has started on the incident. A leak in the cylinder kept where the food was being prepared led to the explosion.
