‘Feeling sad as an artist’, says actor Prithviraj in ‘Pathaan’ controversy

Actor Prithviraj has responded to controversies over Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathaan’ film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. He said that it is sad that an art form is being subjected to such harsh criticism and views. The actor’s remark was during press meet held as part of promotion of ‘Kaapa’ film.

‘Pathaan’ grabbed attention starting from its announcement being Shah Rukh Khan’s theatre release film after a break of four years. A few days ago, ‘Besharam Rang’ song from the film has been released. In the song, actor Deepika Padukone was seen wearing a saffron color bikini. It triggered certain groups and they demanded to boycott the film. Following this, Mumbai police had also filed a case against ‘Pathaan’.
