Heavy rush of devotees continues in Sabarimala, 84,483 booked for darshan today

PATHANAMTHITTA: Heavy rush of pilgrims continue in Sabarimala temple. 84,483 people have booked to pay obeisance at the temple. More than 85,000 people came for darshan yesterday. Security arrangements have been tightened due to the increase in the rush.

Meantime, the Karpoorazhi procession, which is a part of the mandala mahotsavam, will be held at the Sannidhanam this evening after deeparadhana. Karpoorazhi is organized by the employees of the devaswom board. Temple tantri Kandaru Rajeevaru will light the camphor in front of the temple flag mast. The Karpoorazhi procession is in front of the pathinettampadi after reaching the nadapanthal via the Malikapuram temple.
