‘Governor and government are one, thanks to CM and Governor for helping me to return’, responds Saji Cherian

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Saji Cherian said that he has love and respect for Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. He was talking to the media after the swearing-in ceremony.

“There are some political differences with the governor. The Governor and the government are one. Governor is a senior leader. So naturally, a stance which helps everyone to work together will be taken. If there are small issues, they will be discussed and resolved. That is the stance of the LDF government. Thanks to Chief Minister and Governor who helped for my return. I also thank the people of Chengannur.”, Cherian said.

“I hope that I will get back the portfolios which I handled earlier. I will try my best to keep the promises given to the people and will also try to solve the issues in the coastal area. The opposition was supposed to attend the swearing-in ceremony. I hope I have their support as well.”, he added. Saji Cherian returned to the cabinet after a gap of 182 days.
