No end to food poisoning, 7 in hospital after trying biryani

THRISSUR: Seven people including children have been admitted to the Kattoor community health center after getting food poisoned. The family including the children were on a visit to Thrissur Sobha city when they tried a chicken biriyani from the restaurant named biriyani hut, located inside the Shobha city premises. The family found the dish stinking and reported the same to the staff, before going out without completing it. The very next morning the children who were at school felt pain in their stomachs which led to viral infections and loose bowel movement. A complaint has been registered in the health department. The cases of food poisoning are slowly becoming a daily scenario in Kerala.
