Kunchacko Boban will lead Kerala team in new season of CCL, to face off against Salman Khan's Mumbai Heroes at Karyavattom

The new season of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), the cricket league of Indian movie stars, will begin on February 4. The curtain raiser will be held in Mumbai on the same day. The first match of the season is on February 18.

The 'Kerala Strikers' team of Malayalam actors will join hands with another club, Celebrity Cricket Club, for the new season. The new name of the team is C3 Kerala Strikers. The 20-member team of Kerala players has been announced.

Kunchacko Boban will captain the side. Mohanlal will be the non-playing captain. Asif Ali, Unni Mukundan, Indrajith Sukumaran, Vijay Yesudas, Saiju Kurup, Antony Varghese, Vinu Mohan, Rajeev Pillai, Arjun Nandakumar, Siddharth Menon, Manikuttan, Shafiq Rahman, Vivek Gopan, Nikhil K Menon, Prajod Kalabhavan, Jean Paul Lal, Sanju Sivaram, Siju Wilson and Prashanth Alexander are the other team members.

Two matches of CCL will be played at Karyavattom Greenfield Stadium. In one of these, Kerala Strikers will face Mumbai Heroes, a club of Bollywood stars. Salman Khan is the non-playing captain of the team. Karnataka and Punjab will face each other in another match at the stadium.
