Blast in Thrissur firecracker warehouse; one seriously injured, tremors felt kilometers away

Thrissur: Mani from Chelakkara was seriously injured in an explosion at a fireworks warehouse in Kundannur, Wadakkanchery. Locals say that the tremors were felt up to ten kilometers away. The warehouse was destroyed completely. It is told that there was only one person at the warehouse. License of the fireworks warehouse is in the name of a person called Srinivasan.

Tremors were reported in the Ottupara Athani region as well. There were two explosions. People ran out of their houses due to the shock of the explosion. Efforts are on to put out the fire. The cause of the accident is not known yet.
