Akhil Marar's revelations related to the television show 'Bigg Boss' are being widely discussed on social media. In this situation, former contestant, singer and actress Manisha has opened up some things during an interview to Kaumudy Movies in connection with the programme. Akhil raised serious allegations on the misuse of women in the show. Shortly, many including Dr Robin Radhakrishnan and others came responding on it.

‘I watch the latest Bigg Boss. I don’t sit and watch the show regularly. Frankly speaking, I haven’t seen the show before participating in Bigg Boss.

I had seen the video of Akhil and Robin. Toxicity is the content of this show. Each programme has its own content. The audience watch the show to see it. We are contestants of season 5. People depicted us as ‘maravazhas and nanma trees’. When we tried to value friendship and relationships, we were made maravazhas and nanma trees.
I don't feel season 6 is a good show for the whole family to sit together and watch. The behaviour of the contestants is the cause of it. The words they address here and their actions... it feels that they have come here learning all this from home.

Marar said things that completely affect female contestants including me. He posted a second video explaining it. He meant about some. As long as there are some, not mentioning one's name, a finger will be pointed in everyone's face. If have the courage to say this, what is the lack of courage to say the name? There are good and bad people in the acting field. If one out of ten goes bad, it affects all ten. Should say their name. I personally have never had such a feeling. As an artiste, I haven't got the respect I deserve inside Bigg Boss. Saying this because my reward was very low. Even people much junior to me and have much less experience, got twice as much than me. We will know all this. It had hurt me a lot. I was worried because those who knew so much did not give me much value. Mine was an unfair eviction in episode 36. Not that I'd get the cup after being there for 100 days, but contestant Manisha had the capacity to stay there for 50 days.

I am not saying that everything Akhil Marar says is true. There may have been attempts against Marar. They may also have personally favourable competitors, but unless I know it personally there is no point in me talking about it. All I can say is from my experience.

I cannot fully agree with what Marar said in Sibin's case. Sibin himself has told several times that he wants to go home. Sibin has played badly in a way that annoys many. In the case of medicine, giving it to someone who don't need it is a big case. I doubt if they will go and involve in such a case. Marar said Sibin said and he has not mentioned yet. If given an unnecessary medicine, then it is wrong. No doctor who has ethics will do it. They say there are proofs, let them prove it.

I have never faced a bad experience. Maybe it's because I'm old. Everyone chooses everything based on their appearance and age. I don't know. I have felt myself as of not that type. As long as we live in the society, we should live with respect to the society, but it is not necessary to live by convincing the society.

In which field does this not happen? This is happening in every field. One thing I can tell you is that women are the greatest insult to women. A lot what Akhil said is very accurate, it needs some clarity. Akhil has said that he will give it soon. It is difficult for us until he gives. It should be clear who it is. People need to understand that. This may have happened. Casting couches are everywhere. So, it doesn't have to happen everywhere. I won't say that Akhil Marar is wrong or that he has insulted women completely. There should be clarity.

Akhil has the courage to say things face to face. People came to know about it through Akhil. The energy shown to say must be respected. What did I say when you asked me if I had the courage to talk about it? I'm afraid. In the past I used to say everything, now I am old. Time keeps changing. It's the time of children. Seeing the comments and posts on social media, I feel hesitant to tell the truth. Many people comment without understanding things.

Manisha also said that she has not got a good programme after leaving Bigg Boss. 'Others will think that I have garnered success. It's not that. It could be the problem of the brand Bigg Boss. They may think that if you call her, will have to pay a big amount. I have a lot of problems. Getting some money. People think that I get a lot of money. No, I get very little money, she said.
