
MUMBAI: The BCCI has made two changes to the squad for the five-match T20I series against New Zealand. Shreyas Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi have been included in the team. Iyer and Bishnoi have returned to the T20 team in place of two injured players.
The BCCI has announced in a press release that Ravi Bishnoi has been included in place of injured all-rounder Washington Sundar and Shreyas Iyer has been included in place of Tilak Verma for the first three matches. Washington Sundar was injured during the first ODI against New Zealand. The player did not play in the second match due to a side strain.
Indian team: Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer (first three T20Is), Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Rinku Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Ishan Kishan, Ravi Bishnoi (Tilak Verma is expected to return to the team to play in the last two T20Is.)
