Displaying a dominant batting performance, LSG reached the target in just 16.1 overs, losing only five wickets. Nicholas Pooran played a blistering knock, smashing 70 runs (six fours and six sixes) off just 26 balls, turning the tables on Hyderabad.
Chasing 191, Lucknow got off to a solid start, with Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh (52 off 31) forging a crucial partnership for the third wicket. The duo amassed a massive 116 runs off just 43 balls. Skipper Rishabh Pant contributed 15 runs off 15 balls, while Ayush Badoni (6 off 6) and Aiden Markram (1 off 4) failed to make an impact. David Miller (13* off 7) and Abdul Samad (22* off 8) remained unbeaten, guiding the team to victory.
Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad, batting first, posted a total of 190/9 in 20 overs. Shardul Thakur led LSG's bowling attack, taking four wickets while conceding only 34 runs in his four-over spell.
For SRH, Travis Head was the top scorer with 47 runs off 28 balls, hitting five fours and three sixes. Nitish Kumar Reddy (32 off 28), Heinrich Klaasen (26 off 17), and Aniketh Verma (36 off 13) played crucial cameos. Captain Pat Cummins smashed 18 runs off just four balls, hitting three sixes before getting dismissed. Harshal Patel remained unbeaten with 12* off 11 balls.
