GUWAHATI: Malayali star batsman Sanju Samson had a shoddy outing in the third T20match against New Zealand. Amid criticism from various quarters, rumours are circulating that the player will be benched in the next two matches.

Even his loyal supporters who used to stay thick and thin with Sanju are now apprehensive of the former Rajasthan Royals captain’s batting consistency. Now, a Facebook post by actor and director Santosh Pandit, a once hardcore supporter of Sanju, is going viral on social media.

India avenged their ODI defeat by defeating New Zealand by 8 wickets in the third T20 and won the T20 series (3-0). ..(I had predicted this before when India lost the ODI series)

Batting first, New Zealand were bowled out for 153. All the bowlers, including Player of the Match Bumrah ji and Ravi Bishnoi ji, who took 3 wickets each, displayed terrific performance. In reply, Kerala's Sanju Samson ji stumbled (0) on the first ball. Abhishek’s recent strong performances are noteworthy. It continued again. 68 runs in 20 balls, 5 sixes, 7 fours.50 in just 14 balls, scripting a record of the second fastest fifty. The fastest is still with Yuvraj ji..fifty in 12 balls..

With Ishan Kishan ji (28 runs in 13 balls, 2 sixes, 3 fours), and captain Suryakumar Yadav ji (57* in 26 balls, 3 sixes, 6 fours), back in deadly form, India really embarrassed New Zealand by scoring 155 runs in just 10 overs.

But Sanju Samson ji, who was not very consistent, disappointed for the third consecutive game.
