WASHINGTON: A Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft flying at an altitude of 5,000 feet made an emergency landing after experiencing engine failure. The aircraft, which made the emergency landing, is operated by United Airlines. The incident occurred on July 25 while flying over the Atlantic Ocean from Washington Dulles Airport to Munich. The pilot immediately gave a 'Mayday' message.

The engine failure was noticed shortly after the plane took off and reached an altitude of 5,000 feet. The crew immediately contacted air traffic control to request an emergency landing. The plane made an emergency landing after circling for about two and a half hours because it had full fuel. No one was injured in the incident. It is reported that an investigation has been launched into the technical failure of the plane.

The plane, which landed due to a failure in the left engine, was towed from the runway and moved to the hangar. The flight is continuing at Dallas Airport. The aircraft that crashed in Ahmedabad and killed 290 people was also a Boeing Dreamliner.
