10 expatriates die after consuming spurious liquor in Kuwait, hints of Malayalees among dead

KUWAIT CITY: Ten expatriates have died and many are under treatment after consuming spurious liquor in Kuwait City. Though the details of the dead have not been released, it is hinted that Malayalees are also among the dead. Initial tests have confirmed that they were poisoned by alcohol.

Reports said the expatriates bought liquor from Jalub Block 4. The incident is said to have taken place last Sunday. Around fifteen expatriates are undergoing treatment in two hospitals. A media reported that ten of them have died.
