CPM state committee member’s son killed in car-lorry collision

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM state committee member S Rajendran’s son was killed in an accident. The dead identified as R L Adarsh (36) of Pournami in Krishna Nagar, Ulloor was killed in the accident that happened on the Punalur-Muvattupuzha state highway. The incident happened at Kumbazha in Pathanamthitta at around 9.15 pm on Sunday. The car in which Adarsh was travelling lost control and collided with the goods lorry coming from the opposite side. After hitting the lorry, the car went and stopped into the courtyard of a house nearby.


Following the accident, the fire brigade arrived and took Adarsh out from the car. Adarsh died on the spot itself. The body has now been taken to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. Adarsh was the deputy general manager of Lulu Hypermarket in Thiruvananthapuram. He was former assistant manager of Deshabhimani Online. He leaves behind his mother Leena Kumar, wife Megha and son Aryan and brother Dr Ashish.
