NEW DELHI: Pakistan violated ceasefire along the Line of Control in Kashmir for the fifth consecutive night. Indian authorities said that they have retaliated to it. The firing took place in Kupwara and Baramulla and Akhnoor sector. The Pakistani army has been firing at various places along the Line of Control since last Thursday night. However, no casualties have been reported so far.
Meantime, India said at the United Nations that it is not surprised by Pakistan's confession that it supported terrorism. India's representative and ambassador Yojna Patel said that Pakistan is a 'rogue state' that fuels global terrorism.
The whole world heard Pakistan's history of supporting, training and financing terrorist organizations in a recent television interview when Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif confessed in a recent television interview. Yojna Patel pointed out that the world cannot turn a blind eye to this. She also expressed her gratitude for the support India received from the world countries in the Pahalgam terror attack. Yojna Patel said that this is proof of the uncompromising stance of the international community towards terrorism.
Meanwhile, in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, the central government has issued instructions to ensure the safety of people outside Kashmir. The instructions were given to the Kashmir police and intelligence agencies. There were reports that there was a possibility of attacks on people from outside the state.
