Siblings killed in Kilimanoor after bike skids and falls into drain

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A bike skidded and fell into a drain killing siblings in Kilimanoor. The brothers have been identified as Abhi (22) and his brother Abhishek (20), sons of Nandan of Nandanam at Pullayil in Kilimanoor. The two who sustained serious injuries were immediately taken to a hospital in Kesavapuram, but their lives could not be saved.

The accident happened Monday morning at 6.30 am near S N Auditorium on the Nagaroor Road in Kilimanoor. Abhi was on his way to drop his brother Abhishek studying in Kottayam at Kilimanoor KSERTC bus stand. The bullet in which they were travelling lost control, hit an electric post and later fell into a drain. The bodies have been shifted to Paripally Medical College. The bodies will be handed over to the family after postmortem.
