TEHRAN: The US military has readied all possible steps to attack Iran the moment they receive permission from the Oval Office. However, there is no certainty on when US President Donald Trump will give the green signal for the move. Some reports indicate that the attack may take place during Ramadan. Earlier, while responding to the possibility of Iran assassinating him, Trump said he had given all instructions to authorities in case the worst happened. Trump said it would see the end of Iran and hoped that the Islamic regime would not dare make such a move.

The United States has made an unprecedented military deployment to the Middle East. This includes sophisticated fighter jets, warships, and aircraft that act as fuel tankers. There are two aircraft carriers in the Middle East, carrying dozens of fighter jets and thousands of sailors. It is also reported that the USS Gerald R. Ford, the world's largest aircraft carrier, was sent to the Middle East on Trump's orders. International observers say this is clear evidence that a major war against Iran is imminent.

Another section of geopolitical experts commented that the large military deployment is aimed at putting pressure on Iran in the ongoing nuclear talks in Geneva, but ruled out the chances of a war. Iran responded to Trump's threat by saying that it would sink American ships. Moreover, Iran has also conducted naval exercises in the Strait of Hormuz in response to the United States.
