'Daughters roaming around with boys'; I also had the desire to hang out with girls, says Krishnakumar

Actor and BJP leader Krishnakumar has responded to the allegations and criticisms against his daughters. In an interview with a media outlet, he said that he also used to hear such criticisms during his younger days and that older generations often blame the younger generations.

"I wasn’t as cool a father as people might think. I used to scold my children. But when they grew up, they became more knowledgeable than me. Every generation, after a certain point, blames the next generation. This is something my generation also heard. People say today's children are going off track.

Some people say that my children are roaming around with boys without any restrictions. What’s the matter with that? At that age, I also had the desire to hang out with girls. Or, even if I went somewhere, I would lie at home. The difference is that today’s children do not lie.

Still, I tell my children to understand values and respect them. Whoever stands against you, you should respect them. What you give is what you get in return. Also, excessive use of anything is harmful. It is harmful to excessively use social media and other things," Krishna Kumar said.
