'My wife and I are separated': Manu Varma talks about divorce with actress Sindhu Varma

Manu Varma is well-known to the Malayali audience. The actor, who entered the acting field through films, is now active in serials. Actress Sindhu Varma is Manu Varma's wife. Now, Manu Varma has spoken about some of the crises in his family life in an interview. He also revealed for the first time that his and his wife's divorce case is under consideration by the court.

"Sindhu and I have separated. The divorce case is pending in the court. We have three children. The eldest is in America. He works as an IT engineer there. The second is in Bengaluru. The third is a daughter. She is a sickly child. My wife and I are now separated. It is not official. The chances of us getting back together are very slim."

"It's no use saying that we fell in love and lived together. Many people who fell in love and lived together have broken up. There are many people I know like this. Everything is part of the game. Now it's a fashion. You can only know the difficulty of going to the family court when you go there. Thousands of cases come in a day. You can see the judge sitting there with a headache at times. Those who have split never say anything good about each other. It's like throwing dirt at each other inside the courtroom. Now I really hate to go there."

"In the past, husbands and wives used to understand each other. When times change, everyone's mind changes, right? It doesn't take long for separation to happen. When there is a disagreement, it is better to stay apart. I am someone who has no problem maintaining the friendship even after separation," said Manu Verma.
