
Mohanlal-starrer Drishyam is considered one of the best films ever made in Malayalam cinema. Its sequel, Drishyam 2, was also a huge success. Fans are now eagerly waiting for Drishyam 3. Reports have now emerged that the film may hit theatres in April.
It was director Jeethu Joseph himself who announced this during the inauguration of the Centre for Advanced Neuro-Oncology at Rajagiri Hospital. Speaking at the event, he said the film is expected to hit theatres in the first week of April, and an official announcement will be made soon.
"Drishyam is a movie that has influenced many people. I have that weight inside me. So, let's watch it in theatres in the first week of April without many expectations. The official announcement will be made soon," Jeethu Joseph said.
Drishyam was written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. The film starred Mohanlal as Georgekutty, along with Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Asha Sharath, Siddique, Shajon Irshad, Roshan Basheer, Anish G. Menon, Kunchan, Kozhikode Narayanan Nair, P. Sreekumar, Shobha Mohan, Kalabhavan Rahman, Kalabhavan Haneef, Balaji Sharma, Soni G. Solomon, Pradeep Chandran, Arun S., and Antony Perumbavoor. Most of the cast returned for Drishyam 2. The film’s music was composed by Vinu Thomas, with background score by Anil Johnson. Cinematography was handled by Sujith Vasudev, and the film was produced by Aashirvad Cinemas.
