Farah Khan is considered one of the finest choreographers in Bollywood, having brought to life hit songs like Desi Girl, It’s the Time to Disco, Ek Pal Ka Jeena, Gagra, and Sheila Ki Jawani. In a recent video, she disclosed that Sheila Ki Jawani, featuring Katrina Kaif, was the "cheapest" choreography of her career.

Farah made the revelation in a recent vlog while visiting actress Manasi Parekh’s home. She candidly shared that Sheila Ki Jawani was choreographed on the lowest budget she has ever worked with. Despite that, the song went on to become one of the biggest hits of her career, she added.

While speaking about her latest film, Manasi said that a Gujarati film is made on a small budget of Rs 5 crore. Farah then said that big-budget productions often don't appeal to her because she ends up choreographing songs on extremely tight budgets anyway.

“We didn’t even have a proper set for Sheila Ki Jawani, which featured Katrina Kaif in Tees Maar Khan. There were only 10 dancers, and we shot the entire song in just three schedules. It’s one of the top three biggest hits I’ve choreographed on the lowest budget,” Farah said.

Although Tees Maar Khan, released in 2010, was a box office failure, the item number Sheila Ki Jawani became a huge sensation. The song significantly boosted Katrina Kaif’s career, and it also marked a notable milestone in Farah Khan’s professional journey.
