Manju Warrier's film 'Ayisha' was released yesterday. Now, Manju’s remarks during an interview given to a media as part of the promotion of the film are going viral on social media.

“The actor said that before ‘Asuran’, she got several offers from Tamil films. It was a time when I was continuously working in Malayalam. I couldn't act in Tamil films due to date issues and many other reasons.

One such film I lost is ‘Kandukondain Kandukondain Kandukondain’. Aishwarya Rai played the role that I was supposed to play. Director Rajeev Menon approached me first.”, said Manju Warrier.
