NEW DELHI: While speaking at a public rally in Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India avenged the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam. Modi’s speech was after inaugurating various development projects at Bikaner in Rajasthan.
Modi’s words
‘Terrorists killed innocent people in Pahalgam on the basis of religion. India responded to it in 22 minutes through Operation Sindoor. India destroyed nine terrorist hideouts. It showed what the repercussions would be if the Sindoor was removed. The enemies have seen what happens when Sindoor turns into gunpowder. Some thought we would remain silent. The world witnessed the conversion of Sindoor into ammunition. Operation Sindoor is a new form of justice. We responded to terrorism. Do not try to threaten in the name of nuclear bombs. India will expose the true face of Pakistan to the world.'
Terrorists removed the Sindoor from the foreheads of our sisters after asking about their religion on April 22. The bullets were fired in Pahalgam, but 140 crore Indians felt the pain...By the valour of our forces, we fulfilled that resolution. Our government gave a free hand to all three forces. All three forces created such a 'chakravyuh' that Pakistan was brought to its knees,’ said Modi.
