11 women fall ill due to fatigue at Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah's event

BENGALURU: Almost 11 women fell ill due to fatigue in an even attended by Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah. The accident took place at the Puttur Taluk Stadium in Dakshina Kannada. All of the women who expreicend fatigue are now stable. The accident occurred during the 'Ashoka Jana Mana 2025' event organized by the Rai Estate Educational and Charitable Trust. The Chief Minister was scheduled to arrive for the inauguration at 12 noon, but he arrived an hour late.

The event ended at 3pm on Monday. About one lakh people participated in the event as clothes and food were being distributed for free. Many felt tired and dehydrated due to the long hours of wait. The ill ones are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
