Eight-year-old girl sexually assaulted, murdered by minor schoolmates

HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident, an 8-year-old girl was gang-raped and murdered by three minor schoolmates. The boys, who committed the crime, told the police that they dumped the body into a canal to destroy the evidence. The police are conducting a search to find the body of the child. The girl was studying in Class 3, while the boys were studying in Class 6 and Class 7.

The shocking incident took place in Mucchumarri village in Nandyal district. According to the police, the incident took place on Sunday evening when the child was playing in a park in the village. The police launched the investigation after the girl's father lodged a missing complaint. According to reports, a sniffer dog led the police to the three boys.

During the interrogation, the boys told the police that they found the girl playing in a local park in the village. They then took her to a secluded place and gang-raped her. According to the police, the boys murdered the girl and dumped the body in the canal, fearing that they would be arrested if she revealed the rape to anyone.
