NEW DELHI: It is reported that the videos of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested in a spying case, were sponsored by a UAE-based travel company operating in Pakistan.

Jyoti, a Haryana native who worked as a spy for Pakistan, has shared multiple videos sponsored by a company called 'Wego'. Jyoti is currently in the custody of the Haryana Police.

Wego has offices in Singapore and Dubai. This travel agency operates in Pakistan under a license and is accredited by the International Air Transport Association.

As of now, there is no concrete evidence of Pakistan funding Wego but the investigating officials are not ready to shrug off them as trivial.

Jyothi's YouTube channel 'Travel with Jo' has around four lakh subscribers. She also has 1,32,000 followers on Instagram.
