SHIRUR: Kozhikode native Arjun’s belongings were recovered from the truck cabin on Thursday. Two mobile phones, a cooker, shoes, clothes, a watch and other utensils were found. Among this was a toy truck belonging to Arjun’s son.

Documents including the truck’s RC book were also received. Police will check the truck in detail to find more such findings. A sample has been sent for DNA testing to confirm Arjun’s body. The mortal remains will be handed over to Arjun's family by tomorrow. Arjun's relatives and lorry owner Manaf are also in Shirur.

Arjun’s brother Jithin:

“All of Arjun's clothes have been received. Two mobile phones, a watch, Arjun's son's toy, documents, and cooking utensils. This was a toy that Arjun had bought for his son. The toy turned into the child’s favourite and thus Arjun always took it alongside him when travelling. After reaching home, Arjun used to give back the toy to the child.”
