MUMBAI: The police have made a crucial finding in the death threat against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Police investigation found that the threat message came from Ajmer in Rajasthan. Mumbai Traffic Police had received the threat message on December 7. The message says that two ISIS terrorists have plotted bomb blasts targetting the Prime Minister.
The police have concluded that the message from Ajmer is fake. It is believed to be a fake threat from someone drunk or with a mental disorder. The police registered a case and started an investigation into the incident and filed an FIR. The police inform that the investigation is in progress. It is hoped that those behind the message will be brought to justice as soon as possible.
The threat message reached one of the official WhatsApp numbers of the Mumbai Traffic Police. Two weeks ago, there was an anonymous phone message threatening to kill the Prime Minister. A 34-year-old woman was behind it.
The woman who was caught by the police claimed that she did this because of dissatisfaction with the country's administrative system. Recently, the Mumbai Police has been receiving messages that many prominent people will be killed in a similar manner. Sources in Delhi inform that there is nothing to worry about the safety of the Prime Minister.
