LUCKNOW: The construction of Sri Rama Temple in Ayodhya is progressing at a fast pace. The consecration ceremony of Sri Ramachandra is going to take place in the temple within a month. In the meantime, the temple trust officials have released an indication of how the shrine in the temple will look like. The pictures released by Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, have already gone viral.
'The sanctum sanctorum of Lord Shri Ramlala is almost ready. The lighting-fitting work has also been completed recently. Sharing some photographs with you.' Champat Rai wrote in X. The consecration ceremony of the temple is on January 22, 2024. The trust will send letters to around 6000 people to participate in the Prana Pratishtha ceremony of the temple. On December 15, the trust will decide on which of the Ram Lalla idols, which are the younger version of Lord Rama, to be installed. The idols were made by Ganesh Bhatt and Arun Yogiraj from Karnataka and Satyanarayan Pandey from Jaipur. The idol is made of stone brought from Karnataka and Rajasthan. Champat Rai also informed that the idols are nearly 90 percent complete.
