School teacher shot dead on Aligarh Muslim University campus

LUCKNOW: A school teacher was shot dead at the Aligarh Muslim University campus. Rao Danish Ali, a teacher of ABK Union High School on the campus was shot dead.

Danish was shot by unknown persons near the library canteen on the campus at around 9 pm last night. While he was talking to his friends, the assailants who arrived on a scooter opened fire on Danish. He was shot in the head. The seriously injured Danish was immediately taken to the J N Medical College Hospital, but he died during treatment.

Superintendent of Police Mayank Pathak said that various teams have been formed to search for the accused. The investigation is being conducted based on CCTV footage. Personal enmity is also being investigated.
