Social media influencer smokes inside flight to become viral, case registered, watch video

NEW DELHI: Action has been taken against social media influencer for smoking inside Spice Jet flight. Bobby Kataria, who has more than 6.30 lakh followers, shared a video of himself lying on a plane seat and lighting a cigarette. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has ordered an inquiry against him.

The incident took place on January 23 in a Spice Jet aircraft flying from Dubai to Delhi. After the video went viral, the police registered a case against him. When the video came to the attention of the Ministry of Aviation, the Union minister has instructed to take action.

The Union Minister pointed out that the incident is under investigation and such hazardous behaviour will not be tolerated. Airline officials informed that none of the passengers or staff have seen the influencer smoking.
