Toilet full of used condoms; government school teacher arrested for sexually abusing 18 girls

SHAHJAHANPUR: Uttar Pradesh police have arrested a school teacher who sexually abused 18 girl students. The incident took place in Shahjahanpur. The accused is a computer teacher. The police have also registered a case against the school headmaster and a teacher for standing by the accused.

The police said that cases have been registered against the three accused under sections of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities Act) and POCSO Act. Police Superintendent S Anand said that all three accused have been arrested and that the police have informed the Child Welfare Committee about the arrest.

A student had told her parent that the computer teacher was inappropriately touching her and other students. Following this, the parent reached the school along with the parents of other students. Upon conducting an inspection, they found several used condoms inside the toilet. A video of the incident had circulated on social media.
