Youth kills wife for refusing to have sex for eight years, arrested

INDORE: A youth killed his wife for refusing to have sex at Indore in Madhya Pradesh. The dead is Sumitra Chouhan aged 40. Her husband Madhav has been arrested in the incident. He told police that he murdered his wife as she refused to have sex with him for the past eight years.

Madhav killed his wife on January 9. He took her to the hospital and claimed she died after a fall at home due to a sudden increase in blood pressure. However postmortem report said the cause of death as strangulation. He broke down during interrogation and confessed to the murder.

Madhav told police that he murdered her after she refused to have sex with him. He said that he killed her after a verbal dispute broke out over it. He was arrested yesterday. Police said the investigation into the case is progressing.
