‘Performed witchcraft before attack, Reshmi stapled genitals’; reveals youth

PATHANAMTHITTA: More information has emerged in the incident where a couple brutally tortured youths in Anthalimannu. Jayesh and Reshmi of Charalkunnu were arrested. The initial information was that the couple honey trapped the youth and tortured them brutally. However, one of the youths told media that they beat them for performing witchcraft.

Jayesh and one of the youths attacked had worked together two years ago. In the name of this friendship, Jayesh invited the youth to his house for Onam. The youth said the couple beat him and then sprayed chilly powder after taking him to their room and then hung him upside down. 'My spine and ribs are broken. They stapled my whole body.

They performed witchcraft before the assault. Jayesh threatened him saying that if the incident is revealed, would kill his parents and circulate nude videos on social media. Their house was like the human sacrifice performed in Elanthoor. They spoke in many languages. The house was messy. Jayesh worked in a crusher. Jayesh made his wife staple the youth’s genitals. More people are suspected to be behind this. He was talking to another person on the phone at the time of the incident,' the youth said.

Meantime, father of the second youth attacked said that his son had lost the sight of his one eye. A blade was used to injure his son's body and stapled his entire body.

The incidents that shock the human conscience came to light this morning. The couple is in police custody now. The police have started an investigation based on information received from the hospitals where the youths are undergoing treatment. A special investigation team has been appointed for this.
