25-year-old arrested for sexually assaulting 76-year-old woman in Kayamkulam

ALAPPUZHA: A youth has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 76-year-old woman in Kayamkulam. The arrested person has been identified as Oachira native Shahanas.

The incident took place the other day at night. According to police, Shahanas committed the crime under the influence of drugs. The elderly woman, who was subjected to sexual assault, has been admitted to Vandanam Medical College Hospital
