theft

KOZHIKODE: An ‘Aadu Thoma’ model attack was witnessed in a petrol pump. The initial conclusion is that more than Rs 10,000 have been lost in the robbery that happened at Mangad HPCL pump early Friday morning. Two employees were injured in the attack by the thieves.

The incident happened early morning at 2 am. Only two employees were in the pump at that time. The thieves gang reached the pump and surrounded the employees. Then one of them took off his mundu he was wearing and covered it to an employee's face and then stole the money. Threw chilli powder on their faces. After stealing the money, they fled from the spot. The injuries of the employees are not serious.

The police have reached the spot. The investigation is focused on the CCTV footage. The police assumed that the thieves arrived at a time when there were only a few employees with the aim of committing a massive theft, and from the manner in which the money was stolen, the three-member gang were professional thieves. As part of the investigation, the police are trying to collect the CCTV footage of the nearby area.
