Body of newborn found in train’s toilet in Alappuzha

ALAPPUZHA: The body of a newborn baby was found in the toilet of the Dhanbad-Alappuzha train. The body was found abandoned in the toilet’s waste bin. The train from Dhanbad reached Alappuzha railway station last night. The body was found in the toilet of S3 coach during an inspection by the RPF. Railway officials said that an investigation has been launched into the incident.

A similar incident has happened before. The body of a newborn baby was found stuffed in a bag among clothes inside the toilet of the train. The incident was happened in Bihar. It was later found that the girl, who was impregnated by her own father, abandoned the baby. The girl who gave birth was a minor. The police also informed that the arrest of the child's father has been registered.
