Famous YouTuber V J Machan arrested in POCSO case on complaint of 16-year-old girl

KOCHI: Famous YouTuber V J Machan alias Govind V J has been arrested in a POCSO case. The police arrested him on the complaint of a 16-year-old girl that he tried to sexually abuse her after meeting her on social media.

The Kalamassery police arrested him from his flat in Kochi Friday morning. He was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the girl directly at the Kalamassery police station. He is being interrogated. His mobile phones and other electronic devices have been seized and the police are investigating all these in detail.

Govind is a native of Mannar in Alappuzha. He has more than two and a half lakh followers on social media platforms.
