Goons clash in Alappuzha; youth pointing gun hit with wooden plank on head, around 10 injured

ALAPPUZHA: A fight broke out between two gangs of goons during Thrikkunnapuzha Valiyakulangara Temple festival. Around 10 people sustained injuries in the incident. The fight started over threat with a gun. The incident happened early Sunday morning at 2 am. The fight was between the gangs of KAPPA case accused Praveen Prasannan and Mannarasala Mahesh. However, Praveen and Mahesh were not there at the time of the incident.

Vishnu of Thrikkunnapuzha pointed the gun during the festival. Immediately, the opposing gang hit Vishnu on the head with a wooden plank. The two gangs then engaged into a fight. The police have registered a case and started an investigation into the incident. The police have seized the gun.
