Kannur native couple found hanging in Mangaluru hotel

MANGALURU: A couple was found hanging in a hotel room here. The deceased has been identified as Raveendran (55) and his wife Sudha (50), natives of Peringom's Kariyakkara in Kannur. They had booked a room in Falnir Hotel and did not come out for two days or respond to the inquiries of the staff. Following this, the employees informed the police.

When the police came and opened the door, they were found dead. They lived with their daughter in a rented house near Peringam panchayat office. Raveendran was a rubber tapping worker. Remya and Reshma are children of the deceased.
