Kannur: POCSO case registered against CPM branch secretaries for sexually abusing minor boy

KANNUR: Police have registered a POCSO case against two CPM branch secretaries for allegedly sexually abusing a minor boy. The case has been registered against Muyyam West branch secretary C Rameshan and another branch secretary Aneesh. The two have been accused of sexually abusing a Class 11 student after taking him to a secluded place.

The victim resides in an area within the limits of the Taliparamba Police Station. The alleged incident took place in Muyyam yesterday evening. The police registered the case after the Child Line workers recorded the boy's statement today morning. The police have taken Ramesh into custody.
