Morphed and circulated girls' Instagram photos; Kottayam native taken into custody

KOCHI: A youth has been arrested for morphing and circulating photos of girls taken from Instagram. Amal Mirza Saleem, a native of Kottayam, was taken into custody by the Ernakulam Cyber Police. The action was based on a complaint filed by a girl from Kottayam.

The accused allegedly morphed and circulated photos of the complainant, which she had shared on Instagram, along with images of her friends and family members. The complaint further alleges that he sent the morphed photos back to the girl, used sexually explicit language, and threatened her.
