THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V D Satheesan has rejected KPCC chief Sunny Joseph’s statement that the second rape complaint against Rahul Mamkootathil is well drafted. A complaint should be given in a well-drafted form and what is wrong with it, asked Satheesan and said that he had prepared several complaints during his tenure as a lawyer and as a public servant. What is wrong with the complainant seeking the help of a lawyer to file the complaint, he asked.
The Thiruvananthapuram District Sessions Court had granted anticipatory bail in the second rape case against Rahul the other day. With this, Sunny Joseph responded in favour of Rahul. His response was that the complaint against Rahul was well-drafted. Sunny Joseph reiterated this even when he came to cast his vote today. Sunny Joseph also said the complaint was filed politically motivated.
Sunny Joseph said that there was a legal brain behind the complaint against Rahul and that it was a planned one. Sunny Joseph had also clarified that the complaint will have to be assessed as politically motivated. Meantime, V D Satheesan also lashed at the chief minister for his harsh criticism addressing the Congress activists as womanizers.
