‘I’ll be happy if Pinarayi becomes CM, in present situation people will not vote for LDF’

ALAPPUZHA: G Sudhakaran, the independent candidate from Ambalapuzha, has given an explanation for his remark supporting Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. He said that he would be happy if Pinarayi Vijayan becomes the chief minister again, but there will not be a third term. Sudhakaran said that he is a popular independent candidate from Ambalapuzha and that is why the activists came forward for him. He said that he is not convening an election convention and does not have an election committee. Sudhakaran asked whether the five-year gap in elections is a gap and if he had contested last time, he would have won by 50,000 votes.

My successor also filed a complaint against me after winning. Sudhakaran responded to the CPM's accusation of parliamentary delusion in harsh language. 'Are those saying that I have parliamentary delusion ashamed? Arif is contesting for the sixth time in a row. Saji Cherian, U Pratibha and Vasavan are contesting for the third time. He also asked whether they know that AKG was an MP until his death.

Any political party can come forward to help. I thought I would only deliver speech in Ambalapuzha, but will speak against Minister P Prasad in Cherthala. Only one from CPI spoke against me. Why is P Prasad coming to teach communism? Trying to be a gentleman to encourage political criminals. Will go to more than a hundred places in Ambalapuzha and deliver speeches,' clarified Sudhakaran.
