PALAKKAD: Rahul Mamkootathil MLA said that he is not attending any party programmes. Rahul clarified that he is staying away following his suspension and obeys the leaders. He said that he campaigned for those who worked hard to make me an MLA. He said that he will do it until he can walk on his own feet.

KPCC former president and senior Congress leader K Sudhakaran had the other day stepped forward supporting Rahul Mamkootathil. Sudhakaran said Rahul should be active and that he is innocent. Sudhakaran had clarified that it was wrong to disbelief Rahul and that would share the stage with him. However, K Muraleedharan rejected K Sudhakaran's remark. Rahul is presently under suspension. K Muraleedharan told media that Rahul has no permission to share the stage with leaders.

‘The party cannot take any further action now. Let the girl come forward boldly. Presently, the channel has aired only a voice. If the girl comes forward, the public will support her. The candidates in each area can decide who all should campaign for them. The party is investigating K Sudhakaran's positive remarks,’ clarified Muraleedharan. He also added that he does not believe that the Tantris are guilty in the Sabarimala gold theft and that the real culprits should not try to escape by blaming the Tantris.
