‘Let case against Rahul move legally, party had taken action against him’

KOCHI: The congress party had taken action against Rahul Mamkootathil MLA as soon as the allegations were levelled against him, said Shafi Parambil MP when he came to attend an event in Kochi.

‘It is a legal issue now. If there are any obstacles in those legal matters, no leader of the Congress party, whether they have personal relations with Rahul or not, is trying to obstruct it. Let it go ahead legally.

Let its case, findings and decisions come out. I do not feel it is necessary to talk more or less about it as the KPCC working president or as a member of the party. That is why I did not go into such matters earlier and do not want to go now,' he said. The MP said the Congress party took action against Rahul as soon as the allegations were raised.

The youth leadership is not limited to one person. It is not sponsored by one. Many are in the forefront of the party's youth movement. This movement was born out of the need for more representation of youths within the Congress. It is a total movement. Its fuel is the acceptance of the people in that group and that movement. A problem that one has will not affect in any way. This youth movement is moving forward. When one generation changes, the next generation comes,’ added Shafi Parambil.
