‘POCSO case is fake, trying to extort money’; says vlogger Mukesh Nair

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vlogger Mukesh Nair has come forward responding to the POCSO case registered against him. He said the case registered against him is fake and is trying to extort money. His response was on his Instagram page.

The case against him is that he forced a minor girl to pose semi-naked, took her photos and later circulated them on social media. The girl’s family lodged a complaint against him at Kovalam police station.

The case is that a reel was filmed at a resort in Kovalam one-and-a half-months ago. Mukesh had acted in it. The minor child was also brought here. He captured her semi-naked photos without her consent. He touched her body without her consent during the shoot. The complaint said that this caused mental problems for the girl.
